New Delhi, Jan 28: Serena Williams, the world number 2 has won the Australian Open after defeating her elder sister Venus Williams in 2 sets.
Serena won in an error-strew match 6-4, 6-4.
With this win, Serena has also made history by winning a record 23rd Grand Slam in the Open Era, breaking Steffi Graf's record of 22 wins.
