idya Balan goes to great lengths to get into the skin of her character, and that's what we love about her. In her upcoming film, Tumhari Sulu, she plays a Radio Jockey once again and hence did voice modulation workshops.
"She has played an RJ before, but this is in a different zone altogether. She is playing a homemaker-turned-RJ in Tumhari Sulu. As seen in her latest pictures from the sets, she is wearing minimal make-up to suit her character in the film. She even did a voice modulation course to fit the bill," said a source.
The actress is currently shuttling between Vile Parle and BKC where a unique set has been created. Directed by Suresh Triveni, Vidya portrays the role of Sulu (Sulochana Dubey), a simple homemaker who takes up the job of a late-night RJ.
The film releases worldwide on December 1, 2017.
